Evaluations for medical malpractice cases

Going through any illness or surgery is stressful and anxiety provoking for any person. We all need to trust our medical practitioners and more often than not, they do an excellent job of healing, improving our quality of life and keeping us alive. Unfortunately from time to time they make mistakes with catastrophic consequences and we need them to take responsibility for this.

An evaluation by a registered Psychologist in order to write a report and make recommendations about residency and contact and care in a report for court purposes, should always be a last resort!

Brief Explanation of Mediation process 1. Voluntary process 2. Flexible and in an informal setting 3. Confidentiality is paramount and everything that is said in mediation is confidential 4. It is a safe process 5. The mediation process is without prejudice and nothing that is disclosed in mediation can be used in a court of law. Neither the other party nor the Mediator could testify about anything that was discussed during mediation
